Finishing fourth in the Barclays this past weekend the fourth ranked South African is flying across the big pond to his home in London. His children are preparing to return the school and Els says he wants to be home with his family and he withdrew Tuesday for this reason.
Els will come back to the plays at the 3rd event in Illinois and will play in the fourth FedEx Cup event in Atlanta the following week. The tour is a hard one and has players away from their family for weeks at a time. Els has been on the road for eight weeks straight and regrets having to miss a prestigious tournament such as the Fed Ex Cup.
