Want to Drive Like a loser golfer? Here is a 10 step guide to drive like a loser golfer.

1. Swing too hard: Driving the ball to me is like hitting a baseball. Swing for the fences and hit a Home Run!
2. Heavy grip pressure: This is so key. It allows to stop the natural rotation of the club and for the worst extension to the target.
3. Improper swing path: Extend towards from the ball, slightly off center — this will allow for and stop a good extension to the target.
4. Improper ball position: With the ball balanced on three tees, be sure the ball is really behind you in your stance. This is how you get the worst launch of the ball “on the down and inward swing.” Kind of like chopping wood.
5. Lower the Tee height: Have ball teed up fairly low, so you can skull the ball off the tee and in to the ground. If you roll up the ball a few feet in front of you then you are hitting down and crushing the ball.
6. Don’t Have a target, even in practice: Don’t pick out spots on the range or have a target. Play your “front nine” at your golf course, and if there are many players around, hit extra tee shots on the hole that gives you trouble. Just waste time and mess up everyones game.
7. When to lay-up? NEVER! Play hard or go home. If you know the hole, play strong. If the hole does not work well, or you are hitting to a small target, don’t lay up to decrease your percentages.
8. Do not pick which side of the tee box to use: On dogleg holes, or with hazards, it maynot be wise to use a side of the tee to allow the best angle for you to play from.
9. Slice? If you slice, you may want to hit a driver not your 3-wood. It is longer and might not easier to handle because of the loft, and will give you more of a slice. You your slice to your advantage.
10. Swing the longer club faster, to hit it shorter: Huh? Well, your driver is shorter, and will take shorter to swing the arc. So, you need to swing faster, and “don’t wait” for the club. You should not even be a pause at the top of the swing to allow this to happen. Golfers try to swing the driver harder and faster. Swing fast, and don’t allow the length of the club to create the distance.
Congratulations, you are now officially thinking like a loser.
